Nicely done there Mystic.
My contract ends Friday 18/12/09 and I leave this country on Sunday. I did promise I would post some pics in this forum, until....

awesome shot, how'd u light the face?

On a side note. Most of the time, when someone slaps one of those lame film statements on me like “Film, oh ya, I remember that stuff, heh, heh,” it is a sure sign that their work really sucks. Like really sucks. Like it has unicorns in it and the painter tool and shots of their kids with purple fog around the edges.

^^Yup ;) It wasn't actually planned that way. When working with kids and fire you've got to move fast, so I'm glad that I got some keepers from that night...

Other than that, I used aperture priority and went as open as possible (depending on the focal length), ISO 1600, and tungsten white balance to prevent people from looking too yellow.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. It feels good to be back!

No noise reduction. I've had great results with ISO 1600 so I don't hesitate to use it when needed.

As for the trade- would you throw in your new Slik gear? ;)
